A guided skiing tour from Theodore Wirth Park to Uptown, Minneapolis. See the trails of Theodore Wirth Park and Minneapolis’ Chain of Lakes. Enjoy pizza at Old Chicago upon completion. Shuttle bus return to Theodore Wirth Park. Open to Foundation members, Junior Olympics parents and friends, and the general public. For locals, a great opportunity to show off Minneapolis’ trails. For out-of-town guests, a chance to get to know Minneapolis’ unique trail system.

• Thursday, March 10
• Theodore Wirth Park Chalet
• 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. registration in the Chalet
• 10 a.m. start
• Return buses at 12:30 and 1:30, arriving back at the Chalet at about 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
• One aid station with water and energy drink along the course
• Three guides:
• Long course (City of Lakes Loppet including Junior Olympics course if available) – about 33 kilometers;
• Medium course – 20-25 kilometers;
• Short course – about 10 kilometers with very few hills.
• Cost:
• $25/person if pre-registered ($35 if register day-of)
• $15/person for basic Foundation members ($25 if register day-of)
• $10/person for premium Foundation members ($20 if register day-of)
• Must also have a valid Minneapolis Park Board trail pass
