For a mass start, the skiers are lined up in a “chevron” (imagine row after row of geese in V formations) according to their USSA rankings (highest ranked skier in front). All skiers take off at once, making for a thrilling rush as they leave the start area.

• 8:00 a.m. – J2 Boys 5K Mass Start
• 8:45 a.m. – J2 Girls 5K Mass Start
• 9:30 a.m. – J1 Boys 15K Mass Start
• 10:30 a.m. – OJ Boys 15K Mass Start
• 11:30 a.m. – J1 Girls 10K Mass Start
• 12:15 p.m. – OJ Girls 10K Mass Start
